Walk with me Daddy,
Into the rising o the sun.
Shall we chat a bit
As weve quite often done?

Talk with me Daddy,
As we stroll along in the wood.
I heed the gift o thy words
Just as a dutiful child should.

Dash with me Daddy,
Here in the light o the sun.
Shall we race along this path
Have us a wee bit o fun?

Thrash with me Daddy,
The clay neath the hie of our feet.
I scurry forth upon the trail
Your hand at the finish I long to meet.

Stay with me Daddy,
Til the promised setting o the sun.
Shall we rekindle memories
Of when our time was first begun?

Pray with me Daddy,
Here amidst the beauty I so adore.
I bow before the brilliance
Obedient to thy spirit forevermore.

Walk with me Daddy,
In the disappearance o the sun.
Shall we have another chat
As we have so often done?

Talk with me Daddy,
Here in the darkening o the wood.
Ill heed the gift o thy words
Just as a dutiful child surely should.
