Spooks On Parade
Black cats give a haunting hiss
As the hallowed eve encroaches.
Werewolves cry out in bliss
As nightfall fast approaches.

Demons fill the night sky
Ghosts and goblins scream boo!
Witches on broomsticks fly
Amid vampires two by two.

The monsters roam the streets
On parade from door to door,
In search of candied treats
Spooks and spoofs galore.

Ghouls march on in delight
Horror their way of grasping kicks.
Giving the wee ones a fright
The skeleton hands out the tricks.

A bloodthirsty screeching
Accost in the chilling night air,
Ghastly moans are beseeching
On Halloween night beware!
